Seeking and Finding with Emma Ashleigh
A Vie Magazine Exclusive Interview
She’s a content creator, a show host, and a charity advocate, but for Emma Ashleigh, her greatest title is simply a daughter of the King. Like many young women, Emma spent years searching for peace and fulfillment in all the wrong places. Now, she’s dedicated her platform to leading others to the truth she finally found. We sat down with Emma to discuss her journey for Vie Magazine’s “Seeking and Finding” issue.
Vie Magazine: Emma, thank you so much for joining us! We’ve really enjoyed our time with you.. For our readers who are just meeting you, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Emma: Thank you for having me! I’m Emma, and I work as a content creator. I have a show and also a charity. But the most important part of my story is that I gave my life to God.
Vie Magazine: That’s a powerful statement. Our theme this month is "Seeking and Finding." When you hear that phrase, what does it mean to you personally?
Emma: To me, seeking and finding means seeking for the truth and then applying that truth to your life. I truly believe that everyone, at their core, is trying to seek peace, happiness, and fulfilment. And for me personally, and with my own research and experience, you find all of that within God.

Vie Magazine: That desire for peace and happiness is so relatable. Before you found that truth in Christ, what did your seeking look like? Where were you looking for fulfillment?
Emma: I would say I used to seek the world for validation, for peace, and for happiness. But I realized it’s a continuous cycle, a never-ending cycle, and you will never find what you’re truly looking for in the world.
Vie Magazine: And what changed when you came into Christ? How did the cycle break?
Emma: Coming into Christ, I found what I was looking for very soon. It allowed me to open my eyes into the spiritual and understand that there’s more than meets the eye. It completely shifted my focus from the temporary to the eternal.
Vie Magazine: For our readers who are actively seeking to grow their faith and find that peace you’re talking about, what are some practical steps or disciplines you would recommend?
Emma: My biggest advice is to sit with yourself; spend time with yourself. The more time you spend in solitude and introspection, the more time you spend with God. I would also definitely recommend fasting. Whether that be for a couple of hours a day or three whole days straight, fasting for me is a practice that really helps me grow my relationship with Christ. And finally, surround yourself with spirit-filled people who understand the Word and understand Christ, and your growth will be impeccable.
Vie Magazine: That’s wonderful advice, time with yourself and community with others. For the young woman who is feeling distracted or maybe losing heart in her spiritual walk, what final encouragement do you have for her?
Emma: Stay strong. Speak with God a lot, and try not to be distracted. Even if you are distracted, still stay on course. He is so forgiving and so loving, and the fact that you’re even taking this route and seeking Him shows you’re on the right path.
Vie Magazine: We are so excited to see what you do next. What can our readers look forward to from you in the near future?
Emma: I’m going to continue working for God. I definitely do it in a creative manner, so that’s something that you will see from me bigger the better! But I always let God lead it. You can find me on Instagram and TikTok; my social media is Emma Ashley, and I have a show called With Emma the Show.
